I wanted to get something that was a nut in every sense of the word. Most things we think of as nuts aren't botanical nuts, but culinary nuts, e.g. cashews, peanuts, or Brazil nut. With a bit of research, both Liz and I decided on the hazelnut, also know as a filbert nut or cobnut.
I love them. I wish they put these in more nut mixes.
