Day 32: Baked Alaska

Wow. I mean, check it out.

Innermost layer: Sponge Cake. Next, Dulce de Leche ice cream, followed by chocolate ganache and banana ice cream. Top all of that goodness with bruléed meringue...

Wow. Baked Alaska is delicious. The only beef we had with this dessert was that once you got to the bottom layer, the sponge cake overtook the creamy goodness of the meringue and ice cream.
I want to try a 'Frozen Florida', which is the reverse- "a frozen shell of meringue filled with hot liquor." Ewwwwwww......
P.S. We went to Papa Haydn again. They're the only place to get these kinds of things.
