Day 63: Pound Cake

The only pound cake I could find at New Seasons Market (dot com!) was Schwartz Brothers lemon pound cake, which brings me back to my Starbucks days. Ah, saving the very middle piece of lemon pound cake at 4:45 am. So glad I don't have to ever do that again. But yum!

Alex liked it, too. His yellow puffy vest goes well with the lemon flavor. I'm a bit sad that I couldn't find Upper Crust Bakery's Better Than Pound Cake, and also to learn that they have gone out of business, due to Lake Oswego's  downtown remodeling plan. Jerks.
